About HopePath

A compassionate mental health directory built from personal experience and a mission to help families.

Our Story

HopePath Mental Health Directory was created in honor of my mother, Elizabeth Moore, formerly Elizabeth Cardin.

Growing up, my family was deeply affected by my mother's serious mental health challenges. As a child, I did not fully understand what she was going through. I only knew that my mother was suffering, and our family was suffering with her.

She could not help what she was facing, but the impact on our family was very difficult. When I was 13 years old, my parents divorced, and our family structure changed dramatically.

One of the saddest parts of that season of life is that we never truly had the chance to know our mother the way children hope to know their mom. Mental illness affected her life, our family, and the relationships we all wished could have been different.

As I got older, I began to understand something important: people struggling with mental health conditions need more than general advice. They need the right kind of help, the right type of treatment, and support that is better matched to what they are actually facing. Families also need education, direction, and somewhere to turn when they do not know what to do next.

That is why HopePath Mental Health Directory was created.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help people find the right mental health resources faster, with compassion, clarity, and dignity.

Our Vision

Our vision is to become one of the most trusted mental health resource directories in the United States by combining treatment center listings, professional provider directories, free and low-cost resources, crisis support information, family education, and helpful articles in one easy-to-use platform.

Why Pinpointed Care Matters

Mental health is not one-size-fits-all. Different people may need different types of support depending on their condition, symptoms, severity, family situation, safety concerns, insurance, location, and treatment history. The goal of HopePath is not to diagnose people online. The goal is to help people understand what types of help may exist so they can speak with licensed professionals and make more informed decisions.
